Annual Christmas Lunch 2018

It is all about traditions, surprises, festive spirit and good company. The Annual Christmas Lunch is per tradition set for the second Friday of the Christmas month 14th December. There will be surprises – who know there may be presents if you have been good. You, the membership and friends of the association are for sure the good company and together we will get the festive spirit going – including the Snaps of course.

Bring clients, close network and colleagues – and enjoy the day together. Save the Date! Take note of the programme timings and why not register now already or reserve your seats. It will save you time not having to worry about it till the day…

Programme Outline:

11.30      Registration and welcome drinks

12.00      Call to Lunch

12.15      Welcome and Pakkelej

12.30      Buffet lunch, including

  • - A Large Scrumptious Buffet with many offerings, including popular Christmas dishes from Denmark, including the barbaric Viking favourites of pickled herring, rye bread and Ris à l'amande. (Vegetarian options are available too – but do let us know in advance if you have special dietary requirements)
  • - A large bottle of Snaps per table of 10
  • - 3 beers per person or half a bottle of wine (more can be acquired on a cash bar basis)

15.15      Close of Bar

15.45      End of Lunch – well it is a lunch and this is getting close to dinner time – but do read on if you fancy continuing. 

15.50      After lunch drinks anyone? We have reserved an area at 1 Lombard Street for those of you who wish to continue the festitivies. We may just see you all there once we have packed up all the gear.

Annual Summer Reception 2018

The Annual Summer Reception will this year be held on Wednesday 4th July and we’re delighted to announce that it will be held on the impressive terrace at the House of Lords - one of the most iconic buildings in the world, no other venue is more instantly recognised than the palace of Westminster. 

The Summer Reception is one of the Association's main events where members can bring clients and guests to a unique evening in a convivial atmosphere at an exclusive venue. It will provide a stage not only for high-level networking but also to further position your company as one that helps to foster important Friendship, Culture & Trade relations between Denmark and the UK.

It will also be an opportunity to say farewell to our current intern, Simon, who leaves us after a year, and to welcome our new intern Mads.

Don’t miss out and make sure to book as soon as you can as space will be limited.


Once you have signed up, a formal electronic invitation card will be send to you directly a few weeks prior the event. You will be required to bring it along with you as well as photographic ID on the evening to grant entrance to the palace of Westminster.
