Offshore Wind 2017

The Danish Embassy in London and The Danish-UK Chamber of Commerce (DUCC) will again co-host this popular seminar offering an overview of current state of affairs and future developments in UK offshore wind industry. 

The seminar will look at specific projects, at current state of affairs, and explore what technology and which solutions are needed in the UK to go significantly beyond the 100/MWh by 2020 target.

The Trade Council is the governmental export and investment promotion organisation under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark. The organisation comprises all governmental activities designed to promote Danish export and foreign investment in Denmark under one roof. 

The Danish UK Chamber of Commerce is a member driven and member owned a bilateral Chamber of Commerce between the UK and Denmark, promoting trade and investment in both directions and also internationally. Nordic Drinks at Club Quarters

Every last Thursday of the month, members and friends of the Norwegian, Finnish and Danish Chambers of Commerce in the UK gather for Nordic Drinks at an interesting and inspiring venue somewhere in central London - an added bonus to the networking.

The Advisory Board Dinner at The House of Lords

The Danish UK Chamber of Commerce’s Premier Membership – Advisory Board gathers twice a year at top level, to discuss current Chamber affairs, best practice and lessons learned amongst these members and to be inspired.

The Baroness McIntosh of Pickering will this time around be our host at The House of Lords giving a unique insight into the workings and processes of this highly esteemed institution. The House of Lords is the second chamber of the UK Parliament. It is independent from, and complements the work of, the elected House of Commons. The Lords share the task of making and shaping laws and checking and challenging the work of the government.
We will this evening be joined by members of the British-Danish All-Party Parliamentary Group. This group’s purpose is to promote relations between Britain and Denmark, their parliaments and people

It is all about traditions, surprises, festive spirit and good company. The Annual Chamber Christmas Lunch is per tradition set for the second Friday of the Christmas month 8th December. There will be surprises – who know there may be presents if you have been good.
